Paytm acquires Orbgen Techĭigital payments and e-commerce company Paytm is acquiring Orbgen Technologies, the operator of Chennai-based online ticketing platform TicketNew, The Economic Times reported. The company closed last fiscal (2017-2018) at Rs 10.2 crore and is targeting revenues of Rs 24 crore this year. The acquisition is expected to strengthen FastFox’ efforts to directly source rental inventory from home owners across neighborhoods. Gurgaon-based home rental startup FastFox has acquired Roofpik, a reviews and ratings platform for real estate industry. BetterPlace claims to have helped employers hire more than 1.5 million people with the right skills and credentials. With this funding, BetterPlace will expand its solutions into skilling, compliance and fintech services, in order to consolidate its position as a single platform for the semi formal workforce in the country, it said. Existing investors Unitus Ventures and Venture Highway also participated in the round. 3one4 Capital backs BetterPlaceīetterPlace, a background verification startup, has raised $3 million in a Series A funding round from 3one4 Capital, per a statement. On the M&A front, Gurgaon-based home rental startup FastFox has acquired Roofpik, while Paytm is acquiring Orbgen Technologies from Alibaba Pictures.
