"Ghost Adventures" is one of those - the guide says shows I know were created over 6 years ago are new (description lists a cast member that left the show a long time ago, Nick), and all are from season 1 - utter nonsense.Enjoy Yellowstone, Bar Rescue, Ink Master, Lip Sync Battle and more, available right in the palm of your hand with the Paramount Network app. One show I watch the guide will say "New 2021, episode 56 season 1" for a rerun, which is literally impossible for a weekly show that has a normal run of 13-26 shows per year and has been broadcast for many years. While I'm at it, the guide also marks many shows as "New", when I know darn well they're reruns - this plays havoc with shows set to automatically "record all new shows" - that drives me nuts too - I don't think there's any way to fix that at all. Why is the box doing this and how can I get it to stop? There's no way to see what reminders are set without checking every channel every night in the guide, which is of course impossible. After the update the DVR is setting reminders by itself, and most of them are for a major network like NBC, CBS, ABC, or FOX, with occasional cable-only channels - it's setting at least one per day, sometimes as many a 3 per day, and for channels at times that I KNOW I never watch a TV show - like any of those networks at 8:00 on a Sat. What is driving me BERSERK is that with these old boxes there is a limit on how many reminders you can have (unless the update changed that), so I have to use them judiciously so I don't run out of them. Outside of these times, our Xperts and other community members are likely to respond to your post.Ībout 2 weeks ago there was apparently a firmware upgrade sent to my DVR - the TV guide fonts/colors changed, a new LED light lit up on the front panel (720p), and when the DVR is recording the red recording light no longer shows up, I have to actually turn on the TV and check the DVR recordings section to see if it's actually recording a show or not - I don't like that but can live with it.
